semiotic agency?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1190 The SI<sub>i<\/sub>&nbsp;stands at the heart of the interventional sign-relation.&nbsp;&nbsp;On the content-level, it sounds like this.&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>The normal context of<\/em>&nbsp;<em>what is happening<sub>3a<\/sub><\/em>&nbsp;operates on&nbsp;<em>the potential of &#8216;something&#8217; happening&#8217;<sub>1a<\/sub><\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Now, imagine [SI<sub>i<\/sub>] as a [substance] in the biosemiotic noumenal overlay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For animals, the dyad is {address environmental (and ecological) opportunities and challenges<sub>2c<\/sub>&nbsp;(SV<sub>i<\/sub>) [what is happening<sub>3a<\/sub>: possibility of &#8216;something&#8217; happening<sub>1a<\/sub>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Here, a spider on the thigh (SV<sub>i<\/sub>) stands for my intention to not let it bite me (or is it the spider&#8217;s intention to bite me?)
