As the compass became more popular, another disposition, the lemming instinct (so popular on American campuses in 2012), comes into play.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cmissing the mark compass\u201d situates dispositions<sup>coordinate+pretty+others_say_its_good<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Law<sup>essential<\/sup> labels the natural and philosophical consequences of this situation.\u00a0\u00a0 In the analogy, new constructions are \u201ccrooked\u201d with respect to the old constructions.\u00a0 These consequences cannot be explained within the symbolic order or \u2018reality\u2019 of the ever-expanding think<sup>group<\/sup>.\u00a0 In fact, problems cannot even be articulated because the think<sup>group<\/sup> depends on the transgression.<\/p>\n<p>At the point,when the problems appear to be overwhelming, a detachment ought to take place.\u00a0 This is precisely what Paul talked about, when he said that the \u201csin\u201d was responsible for his transgressions, not \u201cPaul himself\u201d. \u00a0This detachment must occur, otherwise the person, or here, the city, will self-destruct.<\/p>\n<p>In the story it does.\u00a0 A person recognizes why the ships are not returning.\u00a0 They are getting lost because of the compass.]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[What is going on in the natural philosophical plane?
