Fuller continues, &#8220;Experts function to domesticate the more impressionable and diverse features of democracy&#8230;. Their&nbsp;<em>modus operandi<\/em>sows the seeds of self doubt, so that people stop trusting their own judgment and instead defer to &#8216;those who know better&#8217;.&nbsp;&nbsp;In effect, experts manage to convert knowledge (opinions, the stuff of&nbsp;<em>what people say<sub>2a<\/sub><\/em>) from a vehicle of personal empowerment to the great self-inhibitor (which, for the psychometric sciences, is value<sub>2b<\/sub>).&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Okay, I could not help but to add my comments in parentheses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0159 What are reasonable<sub>3a<\/sub>,<sub>1a<\/sub>&nbsp;people supposed to do when experts<sub>3b<\/sub>&nbsp;regard common opinions and experiences<sub>2a<\/sub>&nbsp;as phenomena<sub>2a<\/sub>&nbsp;to be surveilled<sub>1b<\/sub>&nbsp;then modeled<sub>2b<\/sub>&nbsp;according to the disciplinary languages<sub>3b<\/sub>&nbsp;of manipulation and propaganda&#8230; is irrelevant as phenomena<sub>2a<\/sub>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Why?&nbsp;&nbsp;How can that statement be modeled as value<sub>2b<\/sub>&nbsp;in terms of&nbsp;<em>a financial exchange<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>an organizational objective<\/em>&nbsp;that a centralizing state can capitalize&#8230;
