(SI) arising from the potential of situating the howl<sub>1b<\/sub>&nbsp;(SI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the modern world,&nbsp;<em>the howl<sub>2a<\/sub><\/em>&nbsp;is objective (that is, not dependent on who is hearing it).&nbsp;&nbsp;Also,&nbsp;<em>a phantasm of a wolf<sub>2b<\/sub><\/em>&nbsp;is subjective (that is, dependent on who is thinking it).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Surely, when it comes to the terms, &#8220;subject&#8221; and &#8220;object&#8221;, the modern world presents an inverse of the scholastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The locus of &#8220;the subject&#8221; has switched from&nbsp;<em>the subject matter<\/em>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<em>the thinking thing<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;The former locus is scholastic.&nbsp;&nbsp;The latter is modern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0068 Keep that in mind when I say that there seems to be a backflow from the situation to the content level.&nbsp;&nbsp;The situation-level question<sub>3b<\/sub>, &#8220;What does it mean to me?&#8221;, flows back into the content-level query<sub>3a<\/sub>, &#8220;What is happening?&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide28-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide28-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6764\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide28-3.png 600w, https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide28-3-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 28<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In scholastic terms,&nbsp;<em>the objective<\/em>&nbsp;flows back into&nbsp;<em>the subjective<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0069 At the same time, if I am a sheep, the situation-level phantasm of a wolf<sub>2b<\/sub>&nbsp;stands for a perspective-level question, &#8220;Where is my shepherd?&#8221;<sub>2c<\/sub>, in regards to the normal context of sensible action<sub>3c<\/sub>&nbsp;and the possibilities inherent in &#8216;protection&#8217;<sub>1c<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide29-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide29-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6765\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide29-3.png 600w, https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Slide29-3-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 29<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>0070&nbsp;<em>The attempt to make sense<sub>3c<\/sub>&nbsp;of what it means to me<sub>3b<\/sub>&nbsp;and what is happening<sub>3a<\/sub><\/em>&nbsp;belongs to&nbsp;<em>the sign-interpretant of an exemplar sign<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;So does its<sub>3c<\/sub>&nbsp;potential<sub>1c<\/sub>.&nbsp;&nbsp;An exemplar sign traverses the situation and perspective levels.&nbsp;&nbsp;In the exemplar sign, the situation level is intersubjective (rather than objective) and the perspective level is suprasubjective (a relation that everyone can agree upon&#8230;
