(Part 13 of 17)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>0090 Can I say that again?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saad comes to awareness of an organization objective<sub>2aC<\/sub>, that contains social construction<sub>3a<\/sub>&nbsp;and celebrates radical individualism<sub>1a<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consumer research journals in the 1990s are already postmodern.&nbsp;&nbsp;Their authors are already located in universities and research centers that are supported by grants from the federal government.&nbsp;&nbsp;The journals promote the concept of social construction<sub>3a(2aC)<\/sub>&nbsp;as the legitimate normal context for consumer research.&nbsp;&nbsp;All other approaches are irrelevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0091 Professor Saad&#8217;s dedicates his academic career to showing that evolutionary psychology offers another relevant approach.&nbsp;&nbsp;For this, he witnesses other professors display outrage.&nbsp;&nbsp;Saad shows them&nbsp;<em>what they are not supposed to see<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In chapter seven, Saad expresses confidence that&nbsp;<em>the methodology inherent in nomological evidence<sub>1<\/sub>&nbsp;<\/em>will demonstrate that social constructivism<sub>3a(2aC)<\/sub>&nbsp;is bunk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In doing so, raises a question about consumer behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is consumer behavior?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0092 Saad&#8217;s answer is that&nbsp;<em>consumer behavior<\/em>&nbsp;works according to (once)&nbsp;<em>content-level orthodox views<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, now, &#8220;right doctrine<sub>3a<\/sub>&#8221; applies to questions such as, &#8220;What is the best way to purchase an automobile?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0092 Here is&nbsp;<em>a picture of Saad&#8217;s vision of consumer research<\/em>, which stands opposed to&nbsp;<em>the ideology of social constructionism<sub>3a(2aC)<\/sub><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide24.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide24.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6259\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide24.png 600w, https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide24-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 24<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>0093 In chapter eight, Saad issues&nbsp;<em>a call to action<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students should turn away from&nbsp;<em>the following postmodern paradigm in consumer research<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide25.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide25.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide25.png 600w, https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Slide25-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Figure 25<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>0094 Okay, Saad&#8217;s call to action is far broader than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I already know that&nbsp;<em>the ideology of social constuctionism<sub>3b<\/sub><\/em>&nbsp;wants to take over the content level, the subject of inquiry, and replace it<sub>3a<\/sub>&nbsp;with&#8230; itself<sub>3b<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saad is on target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the start, social constructivism<sub>3b<\/sub>&nbsp;is not a legitimate science, because it produces its situation-level actuality<sub>2b<\/sub>&nbsp;on the basis of an ideological commitment<sub>1b<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, once it takes over the content level, social constructivism<sub>3a<\/sub>&nbsp;expresses a philosophical commitment to radical individualism<sub>1a<\/sub>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Radical individualism is not a rational philosophy.&nbsp;&nbsp;It extols human will.&nbsp;&nbsp;It neglects human reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0095 These comments on Saad&#8217;s book raise additional reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social constructivism<sub>3a(2aC)<\/sub>&nbsp;becomes&nbsp;<em>an organizational objective<sub>2aC<\/sub>&nbsp;that calls individuals in community<sub>A<\/sub>&nbsp;to join organizations<sub>B<\/sub>&nbsp;that fulfill a need in our current Lebenswelt<sub>1aC<\/sub><\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;But, that &#8220;need&#8221; may not be in&nbsp;<em>the adaptive interests of the individual in community<sub>A<\/sub><\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Rather, the &#8220;need&#8221; may serve&nbsp;<em>the righteousness<sub>1aC<\/sub>&nbsp;of a postmodern corporation<sub>3aC<\/sub><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Social construction<sub>3a(2aC)<\/sub>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>the content-level of a larger organizational objective<sub>2aC<\/sub>,<\/em>&nbsp;which encompasses&nbsp;<em>a three-level interscope<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;This larger organizational objective<sub>2aC<\/sub>&nbsp;calls for sovereign power in order to sustain its institutions<sub>3aC<\/sub>&nbsp;and to promote and enforce its righteousness<sub>1aC<\/sub>.&nbsp;&nbsp;In short,&nbsp;<em>the College of Social Construction<\/em>&nbsp;may be defined as&nbsp;<em>a sovereign religion<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>0090 Can I say that again?
