This implies that the Great Reset<\/em> (C) is a reaction<\/em> (C) to<\/em> a problem<\/em> (B) and the problem (B) turns out to be the apparent necessity to formulate a plan for shaping the future<\/em> (B).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How confusing is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

0071 (B) is not shaping the future<\/em>, as much as the necessity of a plan for shaping the future<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, I identify C, the mind-independent being that is being portrayed as mind-dependent, <\/em>as having two aspects.  The mind-independent aspect<\/em> (A) is the fourth industrial revolution (complete with covid-19). The mind-dependent aspect<\/em> is the necessity of a plan for shaping the future<\/em> (B).  Consequently, C<\/em> manifests as A implements B<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe, that is not so confusing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

0072 Even more disturbing, Schwab’s construction of a Greimas square<\/em> persuades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

0073 So, the Great Reset<\/em> (C) reacts to the World Economic Forum’s formulation of a plan for shaping the figure<\/em> (B) by implementing the plan<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It sounds right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

0074 But, if\u00a0the Great Reset<\/em>\u00a0(C) occupies the same relational position as\u00a0illusion<\/em>\u00a0(C), as well as\u00a0reaction<\/em>\u00a0(C), then who knows what horrors will follow when\u00a0the hands of the operation<\/em>\u00a0(C) perform in service to\u00a0the brains who formulate the plans<\/em>\u00a0(B)?\u00a0\u00a0After all,\u00a0the hands of the operation<\/em>\u00a0(C) work\u00a0the levers of technologies with demiurgic capacities<\/em>\u00a0(A).\u00a0\u00a0These technologies can make deserts bloom.\u00a0\u00a0They can make humans irrelevant.\u00a0\u00a0What happens when the brains formulate plans to turn humans into livestock?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, you have to read Jones’s own words to appreciate the authentic literary impact<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

0075 On the one hand, Jones raises good questions that make Schwab’s act of persuasion less convincing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, Schwab has more rhetorical tricks up his sleeve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, Schwab portrays the Great Reset<\/em> (C), not as a reaction, but as an alternative, to a far more dangerous illusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, the Greimas square for books K1 through K5<\/em> mirrors another Greimas square, where the imagined problem<\/em> (B) is that there is no plan to shape the future<\/em>.  Consequently, the reaction to the lack of a plan<\/em> (C) leads to less than optimal solutions<\/em> (D). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
