0017 Since the liberal tradition is a civic religion, liberalism also belongs to the societyC<\/sub> tier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The societyC<\/sub> tier contains two types of religion, ones above the sovereignbC<\/sub> (suprasovereigncC<\/sub>) and those below the sovereignbC<\/sub> (infrasovereignaC<\/sub>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three levels of the societyC<\/sub> tier are (from top to bottom) suprasovereigncC<\/sub>, sovereignbC<\/sub> and infrasovereignaC<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In comparison, for the individual in communityA<\/sub> tier, the three levels are judgmentcA<\/sub>, perceptions and phantasmsbA<\/sub>, and sensations, decodings, impressions and feelingsaA<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Decodings” convert what someone speaks<\/em> into a meaning, presence and message underlying the statement<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, allow me to juxtapose the virtual nested forms in the realm of actuality,<\/em> for both the societyC<\/sub> and individual in communityA<\/sub> tiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This answer is both.  Liberalism consists of many different institutions3aC<\/sub>, striving to remake humanity1aC<\/sub>, according to diverse organizational objectives2cC<\/sub>.  The variety of causes is enormous, from teaching people proper manners<\/em> to ending human trafficking<\/em>.  These causes appeal to the commonsense2V<\/sub> and the awareness of vulnerability2H<\/sub> characterizing individuals2′<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only fools have no commonsense2V<\/sub>.  Only sociopaths have no awareness of vulnerability2H<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So all liberal institutions, appealing to anyone who is not a fool or a sociopath, share a relational object2cC<\/sub>, the mysterious intersection of Locke’s and Hobbes’s nested forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, this relational object2cC<\/sub>,<\/em> is an actuality that associates to the virtual nested form in the realm of actuality for the individual in communityA<\/sub> tier.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
