in a sacred space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So,&nbsp;<em>the focal word,<\/em>&nbsp;A, is &#8220;priest&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The contrast word,<\/em>&nbsp;B, is &#8220;king&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The opposition to B and complement to A,<\/em>&nbsp;C, must have something do to with running the garden.&nbsp;&nbsp;Yes, a priest or king could name the animals and fall in love with Eve, but what about that commandment?&nbsp;&nbsp;A priest follows God&#8217;s commandments.&nbsp;&nbsp;A king is sovereign.&nbsp;&nbsp;A king makes the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So C,&nbsp;<em>the contradiction to B and complement to A,<\/em>&nbsp;is &#8220;someone who follows the rules&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And D,&nbsp;<em>the contrast to C, the opposition to A and the complement of B,<\/em>&nbsp;is &#8220;someone who makes the rules&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slide30.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slide30.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5547\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slide30.png 600w, https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slide30-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Figure 30<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>0117 Besides showing that the Greimas square is a powerful tool, the challenge posed by&nbsp;<em>God&#8217;s commandment not to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil<\/em>&nbsp;becomes more palpable.&nbsp;&nbsp;Adam can be priest, but not king.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, Walton does not know this.&nbsp;&nbsp;Walton does not know that&nbsp;<em>the hypothesis of the first singularity<\/em>&nbsp;changes&nbsp;<em>the waters below<\/em>&nbsp;<em>his discussion<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0118 This brings me back to Melchizedek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In&nbsp;<em>the Lebenswelt that we evolved in<\/em>, hand-speech talk can not fully differentiate&nbsp;<em>the roles of priest and king<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, hand-speech can easily denote&nbsp;<em>someone who is both priest and king<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;For example, in tribal gatherings,&nbsp;<em>carrying the laurel branch<\/em>&nbsp;may designate&nbsp;<em>what we would call, both &#8220;priest&#8221;
