These three forms, which may be labeled, “hermeneutical reduction2b<\/sub>“, acknowledge the conviction3a<\/sub> that the phenomenologically elucidated noumenon1a(1b)<\/sub> is objectified by its phenomena1a<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem is the word, “subtle”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hermeneutical reduction2b<\/sub> offends the attitude of the positivist intellect3a<\/sub>.  It2b<\/sub> offends the social science positivist intellect3a<\/sub> even more, because it highlights the initial metaphysical<\/em>… or shall I say… alchemic<\/em> substitution of a mind-dependent being for a mind-independent entity.  The noumenon1a(1b)<\/sub> of a social science<\/em> is intersubjective.  Situation-level intersubjective beings1b<\/sub> appeal to both the perspectivec<\/sub> and contenta<\/sub> levels of a three-level interscope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

0059 Ah, alchemy is already in play in the social sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even before the articulation of phenomenology3b<\/sub> by Edmund Husserl (1859-1938 AD), phenomenological reduction2b<\/sub> is practiced by the nascent social sciences3a<\/sub> of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.  Even after Husserl3b<\/sub> proposes the methods of phenomenological reduction2b<\/sub>, most social scientists do not recognize it as foundational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Husserl’s project3b<\/sub> disappears as soon as a social science2a<\/sub> is recognized as viable.  By the time a particular consensus<\/em>registers among social scientists in general,<\/em> the particular noumenon1a(1b)<\/sub> <\/em>already has a specialized community3a<\/sub><\/em> devoted to an empirio-schematic inquiry2a<\/sub><\/em> of its phenomena1a<\/sub><\/em>.  The originating phenomenological reduction2b<\/sub> has completed its task and no longer occupies the situation level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phenomenology3b<\/sub> situates the natural empirical sciences2a<\/sub>, where the noumenon1a<\/sub> is a mind-independent being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phenomenology3b<\/sub> elucidates noumena1a(b)<\/sub>, whose phenomena1a<\/sub> are studied by novel and social sciences3a<\/sub>.  These noumena1b<\/sub> are intersubjective beings1b<\/sub> that are treated as if they are mind-independent beings1a<\/sub>.  As such, these noumena1a(1b)<\/sub> [can be objectified as] their phenomena1a<\/sub>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
