Smith\u2019s book, the text ends in the middle of the bound volume.&nbsp;&nbsp;Then, the endnotes begin.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is the work of a scholar.&nbsp;&nbsp;It does not step out of&nbsp;<em>the closed loop of retrieval<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0098 Yet, this is precisely what happens in the fictional account of the first singularity,\u00a0<em>An Archaeology of the Fall<\/em> (available at smashwords and other e-book vendors).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<em>The first singularity<\/em>\u00a0is\u00a0<em>a scientific hypothesis<\/em>, addressing the question, \u201cWhy is\u00a0<em>our current Lebenswelt<\/em>\u00a0not the same as\u00a0<em>the Lebenswelt that we evolved in?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0099 When retrieving an author, both insights and conditions are valuable.&nbsp;&nbsp;If indeed,&nbsp;<em>the conditions<\/em>&nbsp;are as proposed in this blog, then&nbsp;<em>the insights<\/em>&nbsp;allow&nbsp;<em>a re-articulation of the concept of the Fall, and perhaps, of original sin<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is more to Genesis 3 than meets the eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0100 My thanks to Mark S.
