However, consider all other animals. Most animals (with few exceptions) do not recognize themselves in a mirror. They do not exhibit self-recognition. Their animal natures do not seem to hold divine attributes. However, they are not without recognition. They recognize what \u2018they want to participate in\u2019, \u2018what they want to avoid\u2019, and \u2018what they can safely ignore\u2019.<\/p>\n
So, in as much as humans are animals, there is an analogy.<\/p>\n
Animals participate in what they recognize.<\/p>\n
So do humans.<\/p>\n
Humans recognize divine nature.<\/p>\n
