\u201cThe most important object in the group\u201d is the \u201cobject that brings the group into relation\u201d.<\/p>\n
Nietzsche imagined that this \u201cobject\u201d could be Dionysius.\u00a0 The alternative, the theoretical man of Socrates, could only keep the divine passions at bay.<\/p>\n
Nietzsche constructed a symbolic order where Dionysian madness would be \u201cthe object that brings the group \u2013 that is, the entire civilization (willing or not) \u2013 into relation\u201d.\u00a0 Social constructions emanated from that symbolic order, giving organizational imperative to his vision.\u00a0 “Dionynsian madness” became “the object that brought all subjects into organization”.<\/p>\n
