{"id":1335,"date":"2014-09-16T01:42:17","date_gmt":"2014-09-16T01:42:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raziemah.com\/blog\/?p=1335"},"modified":"2014-10-07T23:00:41","modified_gmt":"2014-10-07T23:00:41","slug":"man-and-sin-by-piet-schoonenberg-1964-1-6f4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/?p=1335","title":{"rendered":"Man and Sin by Piet Schoonenberg (1964) 1.6F4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Summary of text [comment] page 42<\/p>\n<p>[Third, the arrangement of moral evil<sup>metaphysical<\/sup><sub>3(2)<\/sub> and moral evil<sup>physical<\/sup><sub>2(1)<\/sub> illuminates the nested form of intersubjective<sub>3<\/sub>(objective<sub>2<\/sub>(subjective<sub>1<\/sub>)).<\/p>\n<p>The objectivity of sin<sub>2<\/sub> is rarely articulated except through the perspectives of intersubjectivity<sub>3<\/sub> (the determination of subject<sub>1<\/sub> as a person<sub>3<\/sub> simultaneously with the determination of the status of subject<sub>(3)<\/sub>) or subjectivity<sub>1<\/sub> (the potential inherent in subject<sub>1<\/sub>).<\/p>\n<p>Say what?<\/p>\n<p>Take a look at the normal context for moral evil.\u00a0 Two subjects are determined: Subject<sub>1<\/sub>, the perpetrator and wolf, is contextualized as a person<sub>3<\/sub>.\u00a0 Subject<sub>3<\/sub>, the victim and the sheep, is regarded as &#8220;the one whose limitations are tested<sub>3<\/sub>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever we judge the action, we talk about the actuality of sinful action through the normal context.\u00a0 We say: What an injustice.<\/p>\n<p>Out of this formulation, the intersubjective relationality of sin becomes an avenue for articulating moral evil.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, we talk about the possibilities that underlie the actuality of moral evil.\u00a0 One subject<sub>1<\/sub>, the perpetrator, is regarded.\u00a0 The intersubjective relation to the victim does not appear, just like the town on a fault line does not appear in an analysis concerning earthquakes.\u00a0 The objectivity of sin<sub>2<\/sub>, the actual act, is articulated by discussion about the perpetrator.\u00a0 We ask: Why would &#8216;he&#8217; commit such a crime?<\/p>\n<p>In sum, we rarely talk about the sinful act as actuality itself.\u00a0 We talk about its intersubjective context and subjective motivations.<\/p>\n<p>We articulate the objectivity of sin<sub>2<\/sub> by talking about moral evil<sup>metaphysical<\/sup><sub>3(2)<\/sub> and moral evil<sup>physical<\/sup><sub>2(1)<\/sub>. \u00a0This gives us a clue about how humans deal with actuality.]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary of text [comment] page 42 [Third, the arrangement of moral evilmetaphysical3(2) and moral evilphysical2(1) illuminates the nested form of intersubjective3(objective2(subjective1)).
