Let us start here:\u00a0 \u201cEvil\u201d is \u201cthe lack of some good\u201d. This applies to both types of evil.<\/p>\n
What about limits?\u00a0 Each creature is limited to particular goods.\u00a0 Are these limitations a \u201cmetaphysical evil\u201d?\u00a0 (Leibnitz suggested this.)<\/p>\n

No, such a limitation is not the lack of some good.<\/p>\n
Yes, if evil is considered \u201ca thing in itself\u201d, rather than a privation of a good.\u00a0 This \u201cthing in itself\u201d is a feature that the creature could theoretically have, but does not.\u00a0 Limitations, then, are privations of \u201cgoods that a creature might have had\u201d.<\/p>\n
[I am not sure whether such limitations should be called \u201cmetaphysical evils\u201d (as Leibnitz called them).\u00a0 I am sure that such limitations contextualize actuality.<\/p>\n
