{"id":1237,"date":"2014-07-08T01:52:34","date_gmt":"2014-07-08T01:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raziemah.com\/blog\/?p=1237"},"modified":"2014-10-07T23:01:00","modified_gmt":"2014-10-07T23:01:00","slug":"man-and-sin-by-piet-schoonenberg-1964-1-5u","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/?p=1237","title":{"rendered":"Man and Sin by Piet Schoonenberg (1964) 1.5U"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Summary of text [comment] page 35<\/p>\n<p>Just as there is a gradation of venial, mortal, and impenitent (irreversible) for sin, there appears to be a gradation for freely accepting the covenant of God.\u00a0 Basic moral acts accept an increase in grace.\u00a0 Grace triumphs in the act of love that resembles the final option, the entrance to a mystical and supernatural life.<\/p>\n<p>[Note the word \u201cearn\u201d is not used for grace.\u00a0 One does not \u201cearn\u201d a particular will, unless &#8220;habituation&#8221; is &#8220;earning&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0 For virtue, one struggles and accepts whatever inspiration comes along.\u00a0 Grace may inspire conscience<sup>free<\/sup> and train the dispositions.\u00a0 In order to do so, it seems like grace would be an action, or an actuality inherent in action.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the intersecting nested forms show that grace is not an actuality like money.
