{"id":1095,"date":"2014-03-27T01:53:21","date_gmt":"2014-03-27T01:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raziemah.com\/blog\/?p=1095"},"modified":"2014-10-07T23:01:17","modified_gmt":"2014-10-07T23:01:17","slug":"man-and-sin-by-piet-schoonenberg-1964-1-4g8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/?p=1095","title":{"rendered":"Man and Sin by Piet Schoonenberg (1964) 1.4G8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[This leads to a question: Who pays the price of think<sup>group<\/sup>?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDenial of law<sup>essential<\/sup>\u201d or \u201cignoring the consequences of the imposition an object relation\u201d is symptomatic of think<sup>group<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Often, sovereign power is confused \u2013 confounded \u2013 with law<sup>essential<\/sup>.\u00a0 &#8220;The law&#8221; is defined as &#8220;the capricious actions of sovereign power&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Most often, unintended consequences are attributed to the projected other. \u00a0I suspect that Rene Girard\u2019s models of the scapegoat may be deduced from this arrangement.\u00a0 Notably, Girard\u2019s tradition does not develop the other side of the model, what I call &#8220;the golden calf\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Scapegoating protects the golden calves only so long.\u00a0 Eventually, all subjects become aware of the high costs of think<sup>pro-object<\/sup>.\u00a0 They come to realize that think<sup>anti-object<\/sup> is merely a projection.\u00a0 The guilty ones (scapegoats) do not really hold the religious ideology and moral attitudes attributed to them.<\/p>\n<p>When people no longer believe, think<sup>pro-object<\/sup> must rely more and more on the brute force of sovereign power in order to maintain power.\u00a0 Think<sup>pro-object<\/sup> stupidly clings to its organizational object.\u00a0 They cannot let go.\u00a0 In particular, they must suppress the appearance of individuals who critique their religion from the perspective of think<sup>divine<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>They must prevent the appearance of a think<sup>divine<\/sup> that dares to put their sovereign<sup>infra<\/sup> into context.]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[This leads to a question: Who pays the price of thinkgroup? \u201cDenial of lawessential\u201d or \u201cignoring the consequences of the imposition an object relation\u201d is symptomatic of thinkgroup.
