The ego naively explains experiences according to&nbsp;<em>the reality principle (id<sup>real<\/sup>)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0301 The only feature that is not mechanically driven is the Self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequently, there is no need to reflect on my reckoning.&nbsp;&nbsp;I need to channel id<sup>fantasy<\/sup>.&nbsp;&nbsp;I need to make my phantasm a direct pipeline to my Self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can make my Self into&nbsp;<em>the normal context of me (as an IiC)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide33-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide33-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10758\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide33-1.png 600w, https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide33-1-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>0302 Suddenly, all&nbsp;<em>the evil of materiality<\/em>&nbsp;slips away from me onto everyone else.&nbsp;&nbsp;Self and phantasm fuse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0303 My Self directly contextualizes&nbsp;<em>my fantasy-inspired encounters with others<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>All the actuality of Freud\u2019s schema of the human psyche<\/em>&nbsp;condenses into&nbsp;<em>the evil thing that my Self gets around or manipulates<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also,&nbsp;<em>Freud\u2019s schema<\/em>&nbsp;is projected onto others, since my Self abandons my ego. My ego is merely a (disposable) shell of my Self.&nbsp;&nbsp;My body is&nbsp;<em>an instrument to be used at the pleasure of my Self<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0304 Secret knowledge replaces reflective reason. My formal intellect operates within the normal context of Gnostic thought. It all comes together in my Self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0305&nbsp;<em>The difficult business of the Real<\/em>&nbsp;becomes projected onto others as&nbsp;<em>conditioning [causes] material concerns<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>material concerns [are driven by] reality-principle goals<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0306 Here is&nbsp;<em>a slogan of type 2 Gnosticism<\/em>: Change the conditioning and then the subject will gain in Self-awareness and lose material concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0307 This is foundational to type 2 Gnostic interventions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subjects (or ego-driven others) are not really human, they are&nbsp;<em>machines driven by material concerns<\/em>. Destroy the factory in which they operate, then the machines will lose their (matter-based) reality principle. Then, they will realize the divine spark, the Self, within them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If they persist with their bodily concerns, then they are evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0308 How are they evil?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide34-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide34-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10759\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide34-1.png 600w, https:\/\/www.raziemah.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Slide34-1-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>0309 This diagram illuminates the rhetoric of type 2 Gnosticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0310&nbsp;<em>The person who is not Self-actualized<\/em>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>a lower class (if at all) human<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Self-actualized<\/em>&nbsp;are anointed to intervene in order to lessen&nbsp;<em>the damage that these ego-driven machine-humans do<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>The Self-actualized<\/em>&nbsp;are anointed to create&nbsp;<em>religious systems that take care of the ego-driven folk\u2019s material concerns<\/em>, thereby opening a path to Self-actualization for&nbsp;<em>the few intelligent enough to take it<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0311 The ego-driven folk reply, \u201cYour views will have horrible consequences.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is interpreted, by the Self-anointed, to mean, \u201cYou admit that I am Self-actualized. You reveal that you are trapped in&nbsp;<em>Yaltabaoth\u2019s illusion of natural laws and social norms<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Therefore, you are responsible for&nbsp;<em>what you call<\/em>&nbsp;<em>horrible consequences<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0312 Here are some classic projections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I (the Self-actualized) am \u201cscientific\u201d, you (the ego-driven) are \u201csuperstitious\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I (the Self-anointed) say, \u201cWell, that is you\u2019re opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I (the Self-realized) say, \u201cYou are a X-ist (insert race, sex, and so on for X), full of bad intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I (the Self-enlightened) wonder, \u201cDon\u2019t you want my (impossible to achieve) ideal?&nbsp;&nbsp;If not, you are a monster.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0313 Once the Self becomes&nbsp;<em>the normal context<sub>3a<\/sub><\/em>&nbsp;<em>for<\/em>&nbsp;<em>a superego(ego(id<sup>real<\/sup>)) machine<\/em><sub>2a<\/sub>,&nbsp;<em>mechanical implications<\/em>&nbsp;are projected onto&nbsp;<em>others<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The actuality of the Self-realized person<sub>2a<\/sub><\/em>&nbsp;hides behind&nbsp;<em>a veil of projected mechanical implications<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;This allows id<sup>fantasy<\/sup>&nbsp;to actualize selfish (as well as unacknowledged ego-driven) behaviors beneath the mask of rightfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0314 Indeed, these selfish behaviors are often perverse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, \u201cperversion\u201d means&nbsp;<em>using an instrument for other than its obvious (typically, biological) purpose<\/em>. An example?&nbsp;&nbsp;Pope Francis condemned&nbsp;<em>treating pets as if they were children<\/em>&nbsp;while ignoring the travails of other humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0315&nbsp;<em>One of the finest pleasures obtained by the Self-actualized<\/em>&nbsp;is to confound simpletons who try to reason with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Does Pope Francis really hate pets?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0316 The Self-actualized interlocutor gives the impression that Pope Francis would snatch dear Fifi away and cook her up for a few homeless kids. Meanwhile, the pampered bejeweled dog, cradled in her owner\u2019s arms, innocently tries to lick her master\u2019s lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don&#8217;t you see how Fifi loves me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0317 This conversation would be a joke if the Self-actualized were not lobbying to spend taxpayer\u2019s money for a grandiose animal hospital.&nbsp;&nbsp;A taxpayer-financed hospital is needed because&nbsp;<em>common folk don\u2019t treat their pets like children<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;They won\u2019t spend what is needed to save their pet in sickness or injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pets are part of our family<\/em>, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0318 In other words, all those ego-driven families, who are slaves to the reality principle, need to have their decisions made for them by the Self-anointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0319 Fifi manages to lick the lips of the Self-anointed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Self-actualized treats it as a kiss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The weird attribution of personhood to a dog<\/em>&nbsp;gives the impression that the Gnostic&#8217;s entire world is viewed through the lens of id<sup>fantasy<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition,&nbsp;<em>the Self-anointed<\/em>&nbsp;does not give any indication that the reality principle applies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The reality principle<\/em>&nbsp;is the problem of&nbsp;<em>the person who is trying to reason with him<\/em>&nbsp;<em>or her or&#8230; whatever.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Self-actualized has secret knowledge that is beyond sensible reckoning and contextualizes&nbsp;<em>a phantasm that goes with the preening of the Self and the demonization of the ego-driven<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>0297 What followed Jung?
