Freedom, the order of the heart, has a peculiar moral and religious character.<\/p>\n
The Church defended the concept of \u201cfree will\u201d against various movements that have denied or redefined it.<\/p>\n
Responsibility is intimately tied to free will.<\/p>\n

Free will : conscience1<\/sub> (note that this is purely theoretical because, in order to underlie the actual, it must be specified within the parallel (exclusive yet interpellating) forms of the moral religious axis.\u00a0 So far, the two most frequently used specifiers have been \u201cfree\u201d and \u201clacking\u201d.\u00a0 Here, \u201cfree\u201d means \u201cnot coerced\u201d and \u201clacking\u201d means \u201cconstrained by the symbolic order of thinkgroup<\/sup>\u201d.<\/p>\n Ironically, to many, consciencelacking<\/sup>1<\/sub> appears to have greater \u201cfreedom\u201d in the sense of \u201cgreater latitude\u201d.<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n Thinkgroup<\/sup>3<\/sub> denies the consequences of their actions (that is, the lawessential<\/sup>) and projects fault for unintended consequences on a mythic other, who (unknowingly and inadvertently) thwarts them.\u00a0 In doing so, consciencelacking<\/sup> avoids responsibility.<\/p>\n This raises the question: What is \u201cresponsibility\u201d?]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Summary of text [comment] page 19 Freedom, the order of the heart, has a peculiar moral and religious character.
